Sorry you were hassled. :( Sounds like he was a PITA. Glad he didn't ticket either of you for anyting though. I worled on cleaning/polishing my mainfold & plenium today getting ready for next weeks mods installations. I also found some Ruby Red engine paint! It already looks better.

Florida 14 LSU 6. What a game. Defense was awesome. I'm glad Florida is doing better than expected since my Yellowjackets are pretty bad this year.

+1 So was WVU vs TX tonight. Crazy.

Jan that looks really great. Nice work.
Sorry LBM about the hassle. Glad you didn't get a ticket
Show went great today Had to leave early. Way too much sun even with the sunscreen face ended up fried. Then the Thunderstorms rolled in hightailed it for the garage. Found out later won award. Friends picked it up. Have not been having much fun lately but this weekend so far, is hopefully turning things for the better.

(he chilled when I told him i only use it for shows) I thought for sure we were both gonna get tickets for no front plates - he even radioed out licenses in to be ran - but we lucked out. Whew!! Now I'm going to seriously consider a hideaway plate...

I'm from Maryland, a front tag state. Many 5th Gen Camaro owners installed a retractable/hideaway front tag bracket. If I still lived there, my convertible would have one.

Utah is a front plate state too. Lightning has never worn a front plate. But I've never been stopped or hassled about it. LBM, I think he just wanted to check out two pretty girls driving hot cars.

Yeah - I've been thinking about the hideaway.... Have a feeling that talking about that is what got us out of the tickets! The cop said his buddy has a vette with a hideaway bracket, and I asked what brand... he got on the radio and asked him! HAHA!

Time to turn the heat on! It is downright cold here this morning. Good Sunday morning gang. Today we have a planning meeting for the Music City Camaro Club. It will be good to get together with the crew with no pressure to have a spotless car, no racing or competetion, and do some organizing & planning for more fun events. This chilly weather is inspiring me to get the boots out. Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good morning its cold here to cloudy and not going to make it out of the low 50's. LBM the hideaway plate holders work well I have a manual one on mine. We have it displayed most of the time as the police where my wife works will and have pulled her over for no plate. I hide it when I go to shows or when I leave town.

I will have it hidden next month when we take it to Florida for the last trip before I put it away for the winter. Based on the recent weather here that will be my last chance for some top down driving. I gotta work on the winter car today one of the screws that holds the rear hatch glass on broke yesterday and I am afraid it will leak or fall off if I dont do something about it soon.

Cold front came through yesterday. My dad used to walk around the house in the fall reciting this poem by James Whitcomb Riley -

WHEN the frost is on the punkin and the fodder's in the shock,
And you hear the kyouck and gobble of the struttin' turkey****,
And the clackin' of the guineys, and the cluckin' of the hens,
And the rooster's hallylooyer as he tiptoes on the fence;
O, it's then the time a feller is a-feelin' at his best,
With the risin' sun to greet him from a night of peaceful rest,
As he leaves the house, bareheaded, and goes out to feed the stock,
When the frost is on the punkin and the fodder's in the shock.

They's something kindo' harty-like about the atmusfere
When the heat of summer's over and the coolin' fall is here—
Of course we miss the flowers, and the blossoms on the trees,
And the mumble of the hummin'-birds and buzzin' of the bees;
But the air's so appetizin'; and the landscape through the haze
Of a crisp and sunny morning of the airly autumn days
Is a pictur' that no painter has the colorin' to mock—
When the frost is on the punkin and the fodder's in the shock.

The husky, rusty russel of the tossels of the corn,
And the raspin' of the tangled leaves as golden as the morn;
The stubble in the furries—kindo' lonesome-like, but still
A-preachin' sermuns to us of the barns they growed to fill;
The strawstack in the medder, and the reaper in the shed;
The hosses in theyr stalls below—the clover overhead!—
O, it sets my hart a-clickin' like the tickin' of a clock,
When the frost is on the punkin and the fodder's in the shock.

Then your apples all is gethered, and the ones a feller keeps
Is poured around the cellar-floor in red and yaller heaps;
And your cider-makin's over, and your wimmern-folks is through
With theyr mince and apple-butter, and theyr souse and sausage too!...
I don't know how to tell it—but ef such a thing could be
As the angels wantin' boardin', and they'd call around on me—
I'd want to 'commodate 'em—all the whole-indurin' flock—
When the frost is on the punkin and the fodder's in the shock.

It's 37 here right now - but the sun is shining, and it's supposed to get up to 70...
Ladybug is getting a bath today. She needs it badly! We've been ridin' dirty the past week...

I resemble the remark well, I'm 60 yrs young and own a 2013 2LT/RS Camaro. I must admit years ago I made the remark more than once ' what's that old man doing in that vette' . Now I know, cause we can!!
