# 1 Edmunds 13.0 @ 110

So which is it? Trap speed is or isn't important?

You say it has nothing to do with it but you are crazy impressed with the 110 trap speed of the mustang.....

I thought trap didnt matter? In this post you seem to understand it just fine in your attempts to dis-credit him. BTW two other guys I know of have run in the 12.6's. One was his first try for the LSR performance Base line company car (funny thing...he was a mustang driver) They have a video of the run plain as day. Also NHRA STOCKER had witnesses that were challenger guys as well as others. He has also scanned his slip. I am sure plenty of others have hit 12.5-12.6 and plenty have run much slower. The cars average is about 13.0

Trap= how fast your car is

ET= how good you hook up.


His 60fts have been in the 1.9x. A 110-111 trap capable car is good for a 12.4-12.5 with a 1.8 60 ft. Even though trap speed means nothing and all

2.0-2.1 60fts have been producing 12.9-13.1 in this car give or take just off of the top of my head.

This is hands down my fav site...haha i dont even go to the mustang sites anymore......i am only impressed with the TS of the mustang due to the Low 3:73 gearing lower gearing takes away from TS....i just paid my car off two days ago and i am standing on the fence Camaro or mustang gosh i just dont know..i love my mustang but i loved my 02 TA

Camaro has 3.42 it is not much different.

Both cars max speed at the end of third gear is also nearly identical. 110 camaro and 111.5 mustang I believe.

BUY A CAMARO....do not resist

trust me the 3.42's to 3.73's is a big diff i went from 3.55's to 3.90's and its a night and day diff and on top of that i think the Mustang revs higher than the camaro 6800 i think

A swap to 3.73 from 3.42= Big difference

This has historically been known as a waste of time in camaro and firbeird land. Opinions differ I guess.
