Good evening all. Hope everyone had a good day. Mine was okay. I'm still waiting for my daughter to come in from running around trying to see everyone before she leaves to return to Fla in the morning. She requested & I made her some homemade potato soup & it is warm on the stove. I just hope she comes home early enough to get good sleep before that long drive. No matter how old they get (she's 34) we still worry.

My daughter has her favorite meal when she visits.

And yes, I worry too.

Last day of 100* temps (they say) this year. We had 116 days of temps over 100 this year. And I sure did sweat a lot working in the garage this summer!

Prayers are sure welcome... It's inoperable because it's so deep, so most likely be dealing with radiology and chemo to kick it's butt.....

I'm a little tired of it. But to keep things in perspective, I think back on the winter days of temps in the 20's back in Maryland with salt all over the roads, the cars, and feeling pain in my throat and lungs from breathing that frigid air. My knees have been pain free for 3 years now too.

I agree for a slightly different reason. I'm ready for the ongoing commercials (aka pissin contest) to be done. I've had enough.

I try really hard to ignore the commercials as they get in the way of actually figuring out what the truth really is. Of course, truth has no place in politics so it's really difficult.

Yeah, I'm with you there. I can avoid the news (journalism is dead). But if I watch network TV, I can't avoid the commercials. Good thing there's not a lot of TV I watch. But I just gotta get my fix of Big Bang Theory, and Person of Interest. That guy kicks ASS! He's as cool as Edward Woodward in The Equalizer.

Good Friday Eve Crew! Looks like we are in for a rainy weekend here. Hope everone has some nice weekend plans. We have a club meeting on Sunday so rain may make for a lower turnout but at least it is not a car show to get rained out.
