Not sure I use 5w 30. Could always return/exchange it

The V6 Lounge

Mechanics would always put 10w30 in my explorer when I was in college, and it called for 10w40. It didn't have any effect on the car, but I had my special "owner's sense" telling me that the car didn't like it. It's still the same weight oil so it'll start up just fine. But you may find that your car doesn't seem happy about it.

Basically the first number means the cold start viscosity (I.e. Can it handle starting). The "w" means it is rated for winter starting. And the last numero is the viscosity rating at 100C. So it'd be fine put-puttin around town. But you wouldn't want to get too sporty.

Yeah, I wouldn't do it to my Camaro. Better to swap it out.

That is what I need to do...with my racing tires on the front sits too low to get my low profile jack under so I gotta make some ramps outta wood.

Well yea a car to the head is not a good way to go

At first I used to thing the same way but after a while of being under a car, I got used to it. However, I will not get under a car that is just held up with a hydraulic jack unless it's just to grab something or to place a tower.
