Geez, I guess, many of you don't recall the 1982 Iron Duke 2.5 litre Four cylinder Camaro Sport Coupe...... No less a piece of junk than the Mustang II.

Sorry guys, but we have had to deal with some less than stellar autos over here in the Camaro world as well

Actually, (sorry F-Bodfather) at one time or another each of the Detroit Three has laid out some pretty dubious turds out there. (Vega, Chevette, Pinto, Mustang II, Fairmont, LTD II, K-Car, Aspen, Volare, Horizon, Omni.... ad nauseum) They were all products of their times.

Thank goodness those times are gone.

Yep. the 12.8 and 13.0 the mustang has run so far is just too much for the camaro. No one has ever been able to match these times before or since. And it is going to take more than just a good driver to run that good. And that 110 trap...holy shit that is crazy!

I am selling my camaro.

Just how many SS camaro's remain stock? Mine had exhaust before it had a tag. Who knows what else it will have(or already has) when it runs up on it's first 2011 5.0 GT

Am I the only one who has noticed the Car and Driver time of 13.2 @ 108 mph for the 2011 GT?

Car and driver got a 13 flat at 111 in their first short take road test with the SS. From what it looks like so far just about anyone can run a 13 flat with the camaro and trap 110-111.

Wow...so now we have it looking like the camaro may not be slower at all. 3 tests so far. Edmunds both 13.0 with the camaro slightly higher traps. Motor trend 12.9 camaro 12.8 mustang. Now we have car and driver which shows the camaro with a .2 advantage and a 2 mph advantage.

So far the camaro looks a bit faster actually.

How many more tests before we can stop hearing the trash talk? Or does the car and driver test have less credit than the motor trend test? Either way this looks like one of the closest battles in history when it comes to the 1320.

I could care less who the best driver is. The best ET should determine the winning CAR.

May the quickest car win

So far every dual ive seen has ford in the lead 3-0. infact I could be the offical stock vs stock online score keeper.
