I used to hate fall (and winter) until I moved here to Arizona.

Good hump Day morning. I won't feel like I'm over the hump until I am finished testifying this morning. Luckily I saved one small suit when I gave away several I thought I'd never fit into again. :( Now of course, I wish I had them back as the others are now too big. I hate being up & at-'um this early in the AM. I am NOT a morning person. Hopefully I will be off the stand quickly & can get on with the rest of my previously scheduled week. Hope everyone has a Happy Hump Day!

I still hate fall and winter because I have to clean up all the fall leaves and I know it signifies winter is coming and I just detest winter but I can't talk the wife into quitting her job to move to a warmer climate. Zandron, I view Fall and Winter differently living in the Desert SW - a far cry from MN.

Where Summer in most parts of the country is considered the best weather of the year, here it is the most brutal weather of the year.

Fall here is getting down to the 80s, chilly is the 50s and any temp below 60 is fireplace weather.

Winter here means 30 - 40 degree days, some rain, some wind coming through snow covered mountains (that IS Cold) and occasional snow flurries in the valley and lots of snow in the mountains and mountain passes.

So keep working on your wife to relocate to the sunbelt.

This was EXACTLY how I felt each year when fall arrived! My wife said I actually got depressed.

It does get kinda cold here during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Sometimes the highs are only in the 60's and lows could be in the 30's. But most of the time, highs are in the 70's and sometimes the 80's. I remember going to a car show in February wearing shorts and a t-shirt, as it was in the 80's that day!

The stupid DCS (Dept of Children's Services) atty. Made a deal with the child's biological mother that is not in the child's best interest (Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) so I did not have to testify.................this time. In 30 days however it goes back to court again. Once again the legal system in Tennessee with regards to children SUCKS! Sorry but that is simply the only term that fits.
