Hi everyone glad to see a v6 lounge. I was wondering what y'alls take on a nice low and agressive exhaust would be. I've looked around on youtube but saddly alot of people video with phones and I can't get a good feel for the sound. I've heard good things about MRT but what is the difference between V1 and V2? I've also heard about the Loudmouth. so I'd like to hear from you guys and gals who have exhausts on your V6 camaro.
Thanks
~Sarah

Anyone have a diy for the spark plugs?
Do you know what cylinder(s) is/are miss-firing? If so wonder if you could swap the plugs to a diff cylinder and see if it is actually the spark plug or something else. All I know is how to remove the whole plug other than that idk about taking it apart.

The diff. between MRT v1 and v2 is that v1 is louder than v2. I have v2 and I love it. Have you looked at the exhaust thread at the top of the v6 page?

So the top mount won't fit with the stock hood?

Should be fine. The 5th gen Camaro is known for its excess visibility.

Going to need a TALL hood for that thing. Goodbye seeing to your right

A good top mount option would be killer, but I couldn't do that. Just me....others will still want it I'm sure.

I can't imagine who would want that. Totally disheartened as this was the FI option I was hoping for. I never saw where Tracy said you'd need to cut your hood and have it stick out four inches.

In another thread he said the finished version ended up being taller than the prototype. I wonder if it would fit under the COPO hood?

You could have probably gotten a 265 under it. But I think the only 265 that'll work will be the nitto nt555. How do you like the toyo's? I'm thinking about changing tires and don't know what to replace them with.

The Mrt's are great exhausts. But when it comes to exhaust, it all comes to personal taste. Some people want loud, others don't. Some want no drone, others don't mind it. So it really depends on what you want. The v1 is louder than the v2. Thankfully for us, we have a thread that lists most of the exhausts v6 owners have tried. Grab a pair of good headphones, listen to a few, and decide what you like best. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33104

I agree, I can't see this being too practical for a daily driver.

Yeah maybe after these tires I'll try out 265's. I like toyo a lot, my previous tires were toyo proxes4. They stick pretty well for street tires. These extensas have this solid patch of rubber in the center for better dry traction, like a mini drag radial lol. But so far can't complain. She's a little easier to get to power slide but her tires don't seem to spin any more than my old 275's. I'll make sure to give a good report in a few days. My foot seems to have gotten heavier though so I'm not seeing the expected gains in mpg

I've been going back and forth with myself over the past month, I wanted to supercharge my car. But a couple people have told me to wait until I'm 25, which is in 2 years and buy an SS when the new generation comes out. Just want some honest feedback.

A S/c V6 is unique imo that's what I'd do if it were me.

When the 6th gens come out I plan on getting an SS (sorry guys) it may or may not be one of the earlier models. It all depends on what factory options there are and diff "perks" per year model and what mods are available at the time; like I originally had the factory rally stripes and then went with NS-1 if I knew the NS-1 were out when I ordered my car I wouldn't of gotten stripes on it (waste of money) and other things like that.
