...I think I've found something that put my spending 8K on the T/A into perspective.

A 31 year old teacher buys a 1971 Charger 440 brand new. 40 years later, it looks no different than when it rolled off the lot. The 71 year old teacher still gets asked about the car..

I can only hope to have this happen by 2051.

Heh, my dad had his 79 until a few years before I was born. Says the same thing, but having a company truck and free gas along with the bills said otherwise.

I won't make his mistake. And both him and my mom certainly won't let me.

Hell they'd steal it every chance they got if it were an auto.

I'm out. Got work at 5:30am tomorrow. 12 hour day.. gotta pay for that rebuild bill somehow.
