Great, the shop can't figure out how to mount my 3-pc forged wheels. I told them that each rim was $1500 and any scratches, they were replacing (ya, I'm bitch like that). I know Raleigh isn't a thriving metropolis, but really?? Dropped tires, wheels, sensors and locking lugs off yesterday (had to borrow hubby's truck for all that shit). Hoped to just go in tomorrow and have them pop them right on.. NOT... They were alarmed that there were two holes in the rim (sensor and valve was my thought). Honestly, I didn't even open the box of sensors when they arrived, assumed the valves would be in there too?!?

OMG, I am soooo stressed. I've got a load of $$ in these already. Damn shoes are pretty expensive.. Thankx for listening hoes.

My DAY

Well I got good news and bad news at the dealership today.

Good news is my new heater core arrived for the camaro while I was there. I didn't even get to see my baby either. They must have it parked in a corner. It's getting installed Monday by my mechanic that does all the wiring in my camaro so I know it would be installed right. My service advisor only estimates one day to fix it. It doesn't matter to me if it's ready Tuesday I can't come pick it up I will be in Vegas till Friday night.

Bad news the lil G5 I'm currently driving has a broken part. The right control arm is bad and the bushing keeps on clunking against the wheel everytime you turn. It's kind of ironic the left side was replaced under factory warranty back in December but since the car has 42,000 miles on it now there is no warranty and it's going to cost $386 to fix. I have to drive the broken car down to Milwaukee on Sunday to get to my hotel and fly out early Monday AM. I'm hoping the car will make it on the 350 mile round trip to Milwaukee and back. Once this car goes I'm walking to work the next 3 days. I could go steal the camaro back but driving around with the smell of anti-freeze is not cool and could cause more damage.

I have the exploded view of the rear right in front of me here and it's idiot proof.

1 bolt

1 pin

Yoink the C Clip

Bye-bye old axle.

But nooo.. for some reason there's something blocking the pin and bolt preventing them from getting pulled. I swear, come tuesday I'm just gonna show up and have him pull the cover and let me look at it. Maybe the 50K I spent in school will solve something for once.. other than mounting debt.

Just spent all day carrying luggage around, packing, cleaning up the house and all. Then waking up at 7 to take mom and sis to the airport. It's finally time, they're gonna be gone.
