Wx forecast looks good (sunny and cooler) and I might stop by. Can't devote all day to show though. Monica has things for me to do around the house to prep for (Duluth, MN) family visitors passing through and arriving on Sunday. I might be able to get away for an hour or two, we'll see...

This has been the day from hell and it is not over yet. Last night I was up until midnight (again) finishing up my progress notes from the day's client contacts. No big surprise I overslept this AM.. I must have turned off the alarm in my sleep; I don't remember doing it. I woke up 2 almost hours late & had to really hustle. Got to work, my phone rang off the hook all day, several new referrals, most clients showed up, etc .......... I was trying very hard to stay caught up on my notes to avoid a repeat of last night. Then my boss comes in with more things for me to do, things I had done already that they were nitpicking & wanting me to re-do which prooved to be a pain in the butt! Now guess what? I have a bunch of notes to do again tonight. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I guess I'd better get to work! :(

This week, I'm actually on cruise control, at least so far. I'm even CAUGHT UP, which I haven't been for months!

However, a coworker who shares a major client with me was crazy busy today. When she gets overwhelmed, I will also become overwhelmed shortly. I predict next week will be my overwhelming week.

Drinking sometimes helps.

I had a crappy day, too... minus the oversleeping. Having Monday off for the holiday sure sounds nice, but we still have to cram 5 days of work into the week.... I'd almost rather work the holiday.

Like Ruby, I overslept; the cats usually have me up by 4:30 - I slept though their pestering and the clock radio for an hour only to fling my eyes open at 6:40 .

Like LBM, I like a 3-day weekend but trying to cram 5 days of work into 4 days is not fun.

Like Supersport, I'm caught up. Actually, this just means I think I'm caught up; something I've spaced is gonna bite me big time, in a bad way tomorrow.

Well I am finished with my notes & it is only 11:00 (as opposed to midnight). :( I am still aggrivated not only about work but in regard to my mods. My Black Iceolator arrived in a damaged box with some missing parts, a little damage to the part & no invoice, contents/parts list or instructions. In the process of OPENING MY MAIL Mike finally got interested enough that he wanted to see the install thread on the Black Iceolator. I had tried to get him to look at it for months while I was trying to decide what to get next. He did not want to be bothered then. NOW, he does not want me to install it. He is freaking out saying I am going to mess up my engine. I sent the install thread to a few club members to look at & get their input. I am not worried about the shipping problem. I know Chase will see to it that it is made right. It just makes me mad that I ask for input & none is offered until I get the thing then he wants me to send it back! Soooooooooo, I am a big girl. I will make up my own mind & then get someone else to be there in case I need help installing it. Okay vent over. I feel better. Okay, now maybe I can get some sleep.
