I just want this week done.

Next week I've got the Portland International Auto Show to go to, then headed south to the NHRA Winternationals in Pomona.

I'll take plenty of photos?

It's going to be a nice break from the foggy dreary of Oregon for a few days. Southern California is almost always beautiful this time of year.

The Vegas Nationals are a blast, drag racing during the day and casinos all night! The fall nationals are usually Halloween weekend too. Vegas+Drag Racing+Halloween= Oh lordy.

Oh there would be no need for that, I'm driving...all 14 hours.

Yet somehow it is cheaper than flying

The fact that it is cheaper to drive than fly doesn't surprise me. Flying is way too expensive.

Well spring isn't too far away. Time to start looking for DRs and start the road to 10s.

Anyone have suggestions on good DRs? I have been going back and forth on whether I should wrap my 20X11s in the rear with DRs or get a spare set wrapped in the DRs just for when I go to the strip.

The only part of all of it that I am dreading is the vast nothingness of central California. Nothing but potato, onion, garlic and cow concentration camps for 550 miles...

Otherwise it's an okay drive.
