no that is not standard across the board.... OSU lost to Texas who was #2/3 and they dropped 6 spots two weeks ago!

oh i realize that and i am not arguing on OU's behalf i am arguing for the
Big 12. i know we (OU) are struggling this year and i am just watching it play out but just don't like how the bcs allows a team to still advance in the polls on a loss. i mean look at the rankings and can you honestly tell me usc and lsu should be where they are.

USC loses to Washington and gets throttled by Oregon. USC should be ranked somewhere b/w 15-20.

Alot is made of conference superiority, but on any given Saturday, but the proof is in the pudding when an SEC team plays for the BCS Championship they usually come out on top, of course you will have your occassional fluke game where an underdog beats a team, it is going to happen when 18-22 yr olds play. I like the way Bama is playing b ut nothing is a given. I do think Florida will have their hands full and will get all they want from Bama. Lest everyone forget there are only a few Seniors on this team, the QB first starting season, Soph Running Back( Ingram), Fresh RB(Richardson) Soph Receivers ( Jones, Maze, Hanks). If you are going to get'em better get'em now. They are looking real good. I would really like to see Bama play Texas for the NC. ROLL TIDE ROLL

Time will Tell, I highly doubt Colt will throw for 400 and 4 td's against the SEC, Kinda like Sam last year, will not be a high scoring affair if either Florida or Alabama make it.

But we are getting ready to play the toughest part of our season. Cal, Oregon, then USC...

Oh and our rivalry game vs ASU..... Now we see what we're really made of.
