Been to the memorial also. Except I was in my dress whites at attention and then saluting as we passed by. It's a totally different experiance when you see everything from that side. And yes, it's a great place to spend your money

Air show at McChord AFB (officially Joint Base Lewis-McChord) is this weekend. Thunderbirds are performing both days, but on Saturday only, they're having fly-overs by the Stealth bomber and the Stratofortress... I think I'll be in a lawn chair looking up on both days

I could see some of it, mostly the turnarounds, not the real slick maneuvers, from my back yard, but have to drive about 10 miles to get a good seat. There's a church near the runway, and they let people park there and sit on the lawn. A couple of years ago when it was a HOT day on show day, the pastors were even giving away cold bottles of water. And the ice cream man made a killing when he came through the parking lot!

Okay, I am now officially home, caught up some on sleep & back to reality. I had a good time but now have a TON of laundry & home chores to catch up on. I enjoyed meeting up with the Camaro comrads from Vegas & meeting Linda. Sometimes being old has some
 moments. Ever been typing & someone talks to you & then you type what they said instead of what you meant to type? Well, I read something & then typed the name I just read instead of the one I meant. Sorry about that Linda. Here are a couple of pics:
