All I can say is wow. Literally. Its such a huge improvement over my old GM its unreal. The HUD is awesome and the interior is top freaking notch.

I didnt get to drive it (stupid snow) but just getting in and around one REALLY makes me want it. It truly is a great time to be a sports car fan from GM. Lots and lots of choices.
I know right?! I got to sit in one last June on the Power Tour. Cadillac level interior in a sportsy Chevy. And the exhaust note from factory is pretty good too!

I went and saw one in the flesh today. She was at a dealership close to my mothers house.

Let me just say, Chevy, you should let the Holden division design all of your interiors. No ugly ass indigo blue color. White LED gauges with red LED needles, beautiful steering wheel that felt firm and quality made. beautiful interior the whole way around. Unfortunately the pictures I took didn't turn out great on the inside but I have a couple of her from the outside.

Sat in my first one as well, and I must say. One hell of a car! I'm 100% impressed and I haven't taken one out for a joyride yet.

The dealership I saw mine at wasnt asking for adjustment or anything so sticker was 47 and some change.

I didn't get into a serious number discussion because they wouldn't let me drive it (it was in the showroom and it was snowing out, they also said since it was their only one I'd have to be ready to pull the trigger that day in order to drive it)

They did however let me go over the car head to toe for as long as I liked.

Seriously, that interior is a freaking winner

I saw one at the local Chevy dealer.

$47k. Black.

I dont like how the front calibers are Brembo complete and the back arent.

At $47,xxx+ taxes and fee's would you guys rather get a CTS-V that's a few years old?

I'm not a fan of the previous CTS design so probably not. And the interior really can't be overstated. It's flawless in my opinion.

I should note if you find one without the sunroof and the full size spare you can knok off almost 1500 right there.

Then it's a question of how well you can negotiate.

Went to my local dealer and they had one in and gone and didn't think they were getting another. He said they had several people after the one but once they saw it combined with no reviews at the time they backed out.

One of the salesmen kept going how he was told Chevy was bringing out a police version. I tried telling him that was the LWB Statesmen/Caprice and he kept saying "no" that wasn't it.

I'd have a hard time not being able to see AND drive one would make a tough sell for me.

Yea that salesman I was talking to said that if I was ready to pull the trigger right then they would let me take it out. That's when I said "well then I will see you later. I don't buy cars I can't drive and take my time on making a decision"

I then called the dealer that I bought my camaro from. They had just gotten one in and said I could come by anytime and, as long as it was there, take it for a spin.

Not surprised.

They probably thought "well someone else will". I don't agree with the dealer's response and it ain't right...but I understand.

After looking at a lot of pics of the interior, the exterior has grown on me. If it was cheaper, I'd get it but I'd get a Charger R/T when I need 4 drs.

Yep. I understood. And he understood my position as well.

I think if it hasn't been questionable weather wise I may have been able to get in on a test drive

Because the SS is powered by an LS3 V-8 instead of the Corvette’s new LT1 engine, GM’s newer technologies—variable cam timing, direct fuel injection, and cylinder shutdown—don’t live here. As a result, the EPA brands the SS a gas guzzler and adds a $1300 tax to the $44,470 window sticker.
And that's a disappointment but I understand GM did it for cost and having better MPG isn't required until a few years later.

I want an SS in Heron White.
