I had sooooooo much fun today!!! Maggie, be prepared for Gary to kick himself for not going to the Wings and Wheels show today. It was GREAT! Only 4 5th gens there, none of us won any awards, but there were so many cool cars and planes and helicopters and good food and music and nice people and and and - we didn't care about winning!

It was by far the best car show I've been to. I didn't take pics of one of the best parts... I was chatting with the driver of the jet car, and one of his crew pulled aside the rope and said "Come on in and check out the trailer" - so Rob and I went in. I didn't see them letting anyone else take a tour. It had two stories (the jet car fit on the top, the Corvette that tows it in the back), and was so cool!!

Awww, first time we haven't been to Libertyfest in a while. Taste of Edmond is awesome, the parade is the best, can't beat free watermelon and their fireworks are spectacular. Heard their 4th of July celebration is ranked one of the top ten in the US

We hooked up and took the truck and trailer to the park and ride lot and took a train into Baltimore to go see the Orioles game that we had tickets to. After that we started on our second leg of the trip towards Cleveland. About an hour and a half in we found a campground and we now have the AC blasting and we took a nice hot shower my first since Friday. I am finally comfortable but man getting my 30' trailer into the small back in site was no easy task. Luckily the owner of the campground helped guide me in.

Life is good again but I do miss the Camaro and my 4 Wiener dogs but I am glad they were not wth me I dont know how they may have handled the 100 degree temps with no AC.

Sorry you had such a rough experience. Feel sorry for all those mid -Atlantic folks that have had a rough time of it!

You got some great shots of airplanes at that show, Jeanette! I used to work at Spokane Airways, and when they had airshows in town all the old cool planes parked up on our side. Amazing history there!

We'll be arriving in Petaluma CA on June 27, 2013, heading up the Coast to Eureka, CA and then on into Coos Bay, OR, for the 3rd and final leg of the cruise.
