when you arrive home at 9:00 after meeting up for beer and burgers with your former work mates only to have the local copper-chopper with his highbeams on, flying in tight concentric circles over your otherwise uninhabited (by humans) house.....

Only 2 little kit-kat refugees on my patio.

I live on the southern most street in my townhouse community and just over the block wall is a neighborhood that seems to see a fair amount of action like that.

A couple of years back something was going in that development that brought out 15 - 20 marked and unmarked police cars. I was standing on a small fountain base to get a better view of what was going on over the block wall. A police officer was on foot and asked me to move back away from the block wall for my own safety; there was a "hostage situation and shots had been fired."

The explained the swat guys in riot gear and body armor and the Ambulance and "Special Invesigations" truck.

He didn't have to ask me twice.



Whatever was going on out there tonight fizzled out. Just as well.

Well, I feel special.... The shop I go to is using a shot with Ladybug in it in some of their online advertising!! (the Mustang and the Audi are owned by employees...)
