I want to thank everybody for making our time down there such a joy.
Starting off with Linda, who made this whole thing possible. Vince, Jimbo, and all the other locals (your names escape me for the moment, but I can describe all your cars!) who were so enthusiastic and showed us around, set up the Naval Base visit (even though we couldn't make that) and led us across the Sierras.
Our traveling companions, Jeannette, Glenn, and Janet. And it was great to finally shake hands with Jay.

I'll throw a couple of pictures out here:

Love that Carbon Flash!

*Gumball*...

And it's scary Linda, but I got that quote right away. I loved that movie!

The view from the Gondola is breathtaking, but the view from the Sky chair is heart stopping. Want to get back there while I still have the ability to ski

Good Morning All!

Diane, Thanks for the pics. I checked out www.ztafirebird.com and I really liked what they dd with the front and rear end. Both are much more true to the 2nd gen Firebird without wrecking the 5th gen's lines. Hmmmmm.got.to.get.another.car.

I don't know, the cute chick in the cowboy hat is too distracting to tell

I can't think of any pull-offs with rock curbs off-hand, but if you didn't get too far off track, I'd have to guess somewhere in the arbuckle wilderness?

I think this might be my favorite concept TA, without the lambo doors.....that's not my cup of tea! Don't particularly like the louvers on the back window either.....

I should have checked in earlier this morning......thanks for the flattery....it'll get you everywhere

That picture was at the Chickasaw National Park in Sulphur.....one of my favorite park spots in Oklahoma. The sulphur smell is a little distracting at the fountain spot, but oh the park is beautiful and water is cool and clear!

Please, we are old farts here....if you were 93 (my age + 40)......you wouldn't even be able to see my pic........

Yep, 5'0"........and shrinking

Y'all should really consider flying to Indy and renting a Camaro, then you wouldn't have to worry about your primo Camaro being "injured" in all the drag racing, autocrossing and general "mayhem". We are hoping to have some parking lot games sponsored by the "Old Farts". Ruby and I have had some discussion already about what we can do!
