COSTELLO CALLS TO BUY A COMPUTER FROM ABBOTT

ABBOTT: Super Duper computer store. Can I help you?

COSTELLO: Thanks I'm setting up an office in my den and I'm thinking about buying a computer.

ABBOTT: Mac?

COSTELLO: No, the name's Lou.

ABBOTT: Your computer?

COSTELLO: I don't own a computer. I want to buy one.

ABBOTT: Mac?

COSTELLO: I told you, my name's Lou.

ABBOTT: What about Windows?

COSTELLO: Why? Will it get stuffy in here?

ABBOTT: Do you want a computer with Windows?

COSTELLO: I don't know. What will I see when I look at the windows?

ABBOTT: Wallpaper.

COSTELLO: Never mind the windows. I need a computer and software.

ABBOTT: Software for Windows?

COSTELLO: No. On the computer! I need something I can use to write proposals, track expenses and run my business. What do you have?

ABBOTT: Office.

COSTELLO: Yeah, for my office. Can you recommend anything?

ABBOTT: I just did.

COSTELLO: You just did what?

ABBOTT: Recommend something.

COSTELLO: You recommended something?

ABBOTT: Yes.

COSTELLO: For my office?

ABBOTT: Yes.

COSTELLO: OK, what did you recommend for my office?

ABBOTT: Office.

COSTELLO: Yes, for my office!

ABBOTT: I recommend Office with Windows.

COSTELLO: I already have an office with windows! OK, let's just say I'm sitting at my computer and I want to type a proposal. What do I need?

ABBOTT: Word.

COSTELLO: What word?

ABBOTT: Word in Office.

COSTELLO: The only word in office is office.

ABBOTT: The Word in Office for Windows.

COSTELLO: Which word in office for windows?

ABBOTT: The Word you get when you click the blue 'W'.

COSTELLO: I'm going to click your blue 'w' if you don't start with some straight answers. What about financial bookkeeping? You have anything I can track my money with?

ABBOTT: Money.

COSTELLO: That's right. What do you have?

ABBOTT: Money.

COSTELLO: I need money to track my money?

ABBOTT: It comes bundled with your computer.

COSTELLO: What's bundled with my computer?

ABBOTT: Money.

COSTELLO: Money comes with my computer?

ABBOTT: Yes. No extra charge.

COSTELLO: I get a bundle of money with my computer? How much?

ABBOTT: One copy.

COSTELLO: Isn't it illegal to copy money?

ABBOTT: Microsoft gave us a license to copy Money.

COSTELLO: They can give you a license to copy money?

ABBOTT: Why not? THEY OWN IT!

COSTELLO: How do I turn my computer off?

ABBOTT: Click on 'START'.

Here are a few pictures from our local club cruise down to St Augustine yesterday. Had lunch at the Conch House Marina.

Good thing it wasn't raining here or no one would have shown up. I reckon we just don't know how good we have it here.

I wish I was there right now! Supposed to keep raining for at least a week. Forecast doesn't go out any farther than that. It's been known to go for a month and a half, or more, this time of year.

Anyway, I'm up and ready to take on the twisty route up the Virginia City *truck route and down into Reno to check out the mini "Spring Fever" showNshine version of Hot August Nights at the Atlantis hotel/casino. Participants are restricted to muscle and classic cars no newer that 1972. Like many of you, I prefer modern muscle, but I still enjoy looking at the older stuff, should be a fun day.

*They had the truck route closed off to regular traffic last weekend for the annual Ferrari hill climb. It's a timed race event for anyone with any car that wants to let it all hang out on this 5 mile "race course". This occurs two or three times a year. Several drivers have lost their lives over the years up there. The fastest time to date is held by a 2010 Chevy Corvette ZR1.

Keep me posted on the next FHC event.. One of my favorites, don't know how i didn't hear of this one.. I live couple miles away and run that truck route hard 2-3 times a week.. Camaro eats it up beter than my old C5 did.. Just hope not to center punch a wild horse when I'm doing it on the MC... don't wanna add to the homemade roadside memorial makers you see up there.

Will do Bill! Me and the boys used to regularly rip up the truck route on our sportbikes. I used to hit 125MPH on that one straightaway (passing lane) many times. There will be more events soon, just not the big one this year that Vince talked about. I hope they get all that dang road work completed up thta way soon and get the loose gravel and crap off the road so I can test the camaro out!

I am almost in tears... way to much carnage on this site....... I was looking for a spare rear end so I could have gears done and keep my stock rear....

I see your bike picture and know that is one scary fast bike (for me anyway). I won't mention what the big fat heavy HD is doing in that section (the sound is fun) but the Camaro is in triple digits and has more and I'm not going to crazy knowing the road ain't closed ahead. Once you torque out of a corner at high RPM and redline a couple gears, you'll be like this.......
