The rest is self explanatory. I always sign log books ROBO at work. Plus you can call me Rob , Bob, Robert , Robby , Bobby, but don't call me late for dinner.
Never late for dinner. Gotcha. So, Rob, is your new picture Cody??? He's beautiful...
My Penelope (a Rottweiler) just turned 12 last week. She's had 2 knee surgeries, and after the last one, while favoring the knee, hurt her elbow and they can't repair that. So, she's a bit hobbly. She's the reason I met my husband (he works for the parks department, I walked her in the park behind my house, he fell in love with her when she was only 12 weeks old, and the rest is history), so it's gonna be a bad bad day when she has to go to the rainbow bridge. But the many years of happiness she's brought to us will make it easier.
Try to think of all the happy times with Cody. And give him extra scratches behind the ears for now...

Yep that's Cody. He went for an adventure outside the fenced in area today for some picture taking while he still can. Rainbow bridge has a few of ours already. Flash 13 1/2, Brandon 14 1/2, Trina 10, and Buddy 11 .

Good Sunday morning gang. A day for getting things done around the house here today and a beautiful one it is. Thanks CCbusa09. We do have quite a nice group of Camaros and that some of the nice ones were missing that day. I wish I could have gotten more pics (some nice hoods, engine bays & etc I missed getting good ones of & lots of nice cars at the show) but this Ol' Fart grabbed the wrong SD card & the one I had did not have much space on it.

Yes , I don't we will have four dogs anymore . We can't afford the bills or the heartbreak. Cody is the leader. I don't know which dog will be the leader next.
The two females( Susie and China) aren't the sharpest tools in the shed and they already seem sad. Our other male dog Splash we only have six months, he could be older than 11 , can't hear. Two years ago when we took our dogs to the kennel, while on vacation, the people at the kennel told us Cody was the lookout . He saw us first when we came back and starting barking.

Since I am an old fart and don't know how to do multiple quotes thanks to everyone for your kind comments.

'Morning RoboSSRS, sorry for what you and your family are facing. I sure Cody's playmates know something is up and it and it's not good.

We lost Molly, our 16 year old Calico 2 1/2 months ago. She was the rabble rouser of my 3 kitties. Jack and Max knew she wasn't well.

Long story short, she succumbed at the vet's office when I was expecting to bring her home after getting her meds adjusted.

The mistake I made was not bringing her home one last time for Jack and Max to "say their goodbyes" and have their own closure. Animals understand death.
Max, who was Molly's man-servant , spent 3 weeks under the bed where the two of them would play and sleep together. He still occasionally roams the house, "crying," looking for her.

One thing that seemed to comfort Max was putting Molly's collar on him. He now proudly wears her pink collar, next to his purple one.

Jack went into hiding in various locations around he house. I regret not having another collar.

Jack and Max are now finding their way together as the dynamics of the household has changed.

So, if I may presume to give advise, I suggest that:

If you think that it will comfort your other pup-pups, to have/wear a collar with Cody's scent, get additional collars for Cody to wear now if it is not too hard on him. This way, China, Susie and Splash will each have their own momento.

When the inevitable happens, if possible, give China, Susie and Splash a chance be with him one last time to say their goodbyes and have their own closure.

Prayers to you and your family.

Whether dogs cry tears or not , Susie sure looked like it. I can home from work last night my wife, daughter, China and splash were in the family room.
Cody was on our bed upstairs and Susie was laying in our bathroom . At 2130 when I came home that is very unusual for them to not be with everyone else. :(

Thanks for the kind comments folks and the pics of Lake Tahoe look very inviting. Maybe another time around the block we'll join in. Looks like you folks got a real quality thing going on with your Camaro's and driving ours we certainly understand how much fun a comfortable tour around a scenic place like Tahoe can be. As I said a few days ago "I think I'm gonna like it here" from the musical "Annie"!

BTW I've tried a couple times to post a pic in my signature but with little success. Any clues as to what I may not be doing correctly?
