Why is it so hard to adopt a pet? My applications keep on getting rejected.

When I was a kid my parents kept getting rejected also.

The place we want to get the dog from said our two acres were unsafe since we had horses on the land also....we were not looking at tiny dogs either we wanted a ridgeback.

And places wonder why they have an over abundance of animals

But to be fair they have to make sure that you will be able to give the animal a good home and that it will be able to live a happy life.

They didn't say why I was rejected, either one of them. I am going to email them back. I am sure it was just an error because we have a loving, safe home (it's an apartment but still). Not like we are getting a dog, it's a freakin cat.

I think I might just round up one of the strays around here.

They were both no kill shelters. Not only was I going to pay the fee but I was going to donate money. The one has over 700 cats living there.

When I adopted my rabbit about a year ago I was surprised at the process. It was almost like adopting a kid. I had to have references, be interiewed, answer questions about what Vet I'd use................It seemed excessive. But I guess they want to be sure an animal with a history of trauma, is not likely to have another one. Good luck with the adoption. Our rabbit is now totally spoiled rotten, rules the house & acts just like a 2 year old kid but we could not love her more if we tried.

Good news everyone!

I got my hands on a set of infinity reference speakers. The 6.5" and the 6x9's. I have the adapter from crutchfield for the door speakers, a set of wires so no splitting is needed, and even a baffler for the door speakrs. But for the 6x9's I only have the wires. Do I need an adapter for the rear speakers like I do for the door speakers?

EDIT: The infinity speakers say they come with mounts suitable for "almost any" top or bottom mount application. So....I'm good? I know this car tends to be unnecessarily complicated.

HURST SHIFTER INSTALLED
This together with the addition of the RS gauges makes up the inside mods. I now am waiting for warmer weather to put the 20" midnight silver staggered wheels with P Zero's on! Also on the exterior I have planned on the painted rally stripes black w/ red pin striping and blacked out rear panel.
The Hurst is a blast to run through the gears with and sounds/feels just like I remembered them from the 60's.
