If there is no pain associated with it, there is no need to worry. It is called crepitus and is normal. I have it in one of my hips and often both knees when squatting. Been this way for years. I can squat down 100x and my knees will pop 99-100x with no ill effects and no pain.

If there is pain, see a doctor. Don't try to get diagnosed over the internet.

Go back in this week to get labs done again. Hopefully I've pin pointed what had my lipid panels all out of whack. I was told that my test levels were above 7000 haha. Looks like gnc test boosters are doing their job.

lol.. oh, must be that creatine too.

I though 7000 was below normal, for your size.

I wouldn't say it's "normal". I've been squatting 29 years and never had popping knees.

LOL but you diagnosed him

You got me! Only if there is no pain I diagnosed him. Mine don't pop except when doing bodyweight squats. My hip will sometimes do it at the start of a barbell squat session. It didn't do that before I had them both resurfaced though.

Anyone used one of these? Not a buffalo bar, a Duffalo bar. It is supposed to be better. I've read reviews on them but am looking for more. I already have a SSB I've been using because my left shoulder was bothering me when using a straight bar. My awesome wife has offered to pay for half of a Duffalo bar. I really should take her up on it.

That bar looks very interesting. I might look into one as well as training now is more about minimizing aches, pains, and injuries and still kicking ass.

You though, need to get her in line and tell her to pay for all of it

then the 'pop' he hears won't be from his knees, but the back of her hand.

Thanks guys. It's 2/3's in her wheelhouse (the overhead lunges and bar facing burpees). The pull ups she will have to break up but it's a good 1st workout for her.

In other news had my final weigh in for the Nutrishop challenge today. Lose 10% of your body weight in 8 weeks get $100 gift card. Made it with 1lb to spare.

Weighed 237.6 on 1/1.....weighed in today at 212.8
