If you've never removed any of the bumpers, the front bumper will be a little time consuming because of the highest screw in the fender area. When you get to it, you'll understand what I'm talking about. Other than that damn screw, which I don't know what GM was thinking when they put it there, the bumper is not that bad to take off. The back one is the easier of the two. But they're both pretty straight forward, remove tabs, remove screws, and take off.

That damn screw does really suck. Taking the wheels off for the front bumper really helps too. I have done it both ways and it was so much quicker without the wheels on the car

There's a DIY on how to put RS halos on a non-RS. That has a great write up on removing the bumper.

There is an IOM SS one for sale in Virginia put its local pick up only and its like a 6.5hr drive down and another 6.5 back and who knows if the bumper would even fit in my winter car.

VA Beach area?

The bumper is huge. It doesn't seem like it until you try fitting it in a car.

My bumper has seen better days but debating if it is worth it to get a new one. I do like the ss and it would be a lot cheaper than getting a ZL1 and then there are endless amounts of good splitters for the ss bumper.
