Dude I am shocked that I actually did this well. My first time ever playing fantasy football. And I was thinking that by having my DEF and KICKER on a bye was going to really hurt me.

I just don't get why some people would just start someone on a bye rather than pick up a free agent to start in there place.

It's what I almost always to. I've missed a couple because of work or something making me miss my deadline.

I had one waiver that didn't go through, for example...and didn't have time to find an alternate.

If you drop a player, that player goes to waivers and can be picked up by anyone. That's why you have a bench. If you drop a player on the bench to pick up someone else, then you can keep your player that has the bye. If that doesn't make sense, call me and I'll walk you through it.
