I don't think Cadillac is going to go head to head with one of these:

To my knowledge, they haven't built tanks since WWII or possibly Korea. I can't see why they would re-enter that market.

BMW ended the M1 program decades ago and they don't really have something similar today. But I will admit that it was a pretty cool car for its time.

BTW, did you know that BMW named their high performance 1 series car '1M' instead of following their normal conventions and going with M1 due specifically to the highly regarded mid engined car from the late 70's?
