That is great to hear. This just proves you are a little crazy, because that is the only reason to like Crossfit...LOL

I am back into the gym on a "regular" basis again. Work had me away from the gym or inconsistantly hitting it. Now I'm back into my routine and weights are coming back up. Love some muscle memory.

Ehhh. I have gained 16 lbs within this month. Between the increased rainy outdoor weather conditions, Thanksgiving holiday, and access to egg nog, I have been eating bad and getting lazy about keeping up my workout routine.

However, as of two days ago, I have began to work on recovering my goal weight and losing some chub around my waist so I can fit back into my size 30 pants again. The treadmill is so not as fun as working out outdoors, but I have to stick with it or all my hard work I put into this all this year will be wasted.

Again I sigh.

just chiming in..I decided to lose weight in mid-July 2012. 189lbs to this morning's weight of 152lbs..37 pounds in 4.5 months. Not bad.

I am doing nothing drastic...no crash diet, no juice diet, no crazy work outs. I eat 3 meals a day consisting of:
Mon-Fri
Breakfast -a fruit (usually a banana) and cup of cereal or oatmeal
mid-morning 20 minute walk
Lunch - 6inch subway (usually blackforest ham, no cheese, veggie fixins) + diet coke
mid-afternoon 20 minute walk
Snack - granola bar
Dinner - 1/2 cup brown rice, salad, with either 1 serving of fish or chicken

Sat and Sun
Breakfast - EGGS!!! I love eggs! and wheat toast or bagel
Lunch - Subway or Jersey Mikes
Snack- banana or granola bar
Dinner - FEAST!!! I eat what I want!!!!!

I think I am done now. Just maintenance eating and walking. I am shopping for new clothes every week now and loving it.

I feel like I'm nuts with all the pain I'm in the day after! Hahah. Couldn't lift my arms yesterday so I did yoga to loosen up.

Saturday was 50 overhead lunges with 25#, 40 pullups, 30 thrusters #25, 20 burpees and 10 kb swings 35#. I couldn't do the pullups so they put a box underneath and I did jump ups. (Which totally made me feel like a pansy when everyone else is kicking ass but I'm new). Though I'm not sure how I like the whole getting up at 4am for 5am workouts.

Thats good to hear! Work is such a pain, why can't we stay home and workout all the time and just be rich... I dont see a problem with that.

Hey sunshine!
The holidays tend to do that to you. The good thing is you noticed it and are taking action. we all sometimes take a few steps back but its a journey and it gets better with time.

Loaded Baked Sweet Potato for dinner. Supposed to be a meatless monday meal but we are going to put turkey on it for a little protein.

As for my Crossfit adventure: every day sucks, but sucks a little less than the last. I'm ALWAYS sore. I have muscles that I didn't even know I had that are sore. And Im all puffy and swollen, so thats just great. And I'm starving all the time and thats annoying even though I'm eating small meals non stop-lots of fiber and protein, carbs early in the day.

But then I think of the little changes I'm seeing and the things I'm doing and never thought I could do and it's all worth it.
