Back home safe and sound with my new ride. Love love love it. What an awesome trip. Winding through the Fraser Canyon at Ludicrous speed.
I had a WRX bumper drafting me for a bit. Hit a few passing lanes and he wouldn't go around me. So I stepped it up and he tried to stay with me and gave up. I'm guessing he didn't have the guts though as a quick google shows our cars are darn near identical in skid pad tests. But the couple times I glanced in the rear view the Subaru looked very ugly in the curves, lots of Body Roll.
The ragtop definitely has some body flex in it compared to the hardtop. I can feel the extra weight too. I love the HUD. I can drop the steering wheel into my lap where it covers the guages now. I also love the Hurst short throw shifter, my 2010 shifted very sloppy compared to this.
Anyhooo, Ima detail my baby today and get some pics up.
Ohyeah, all cars need feminine names right? I'm calling her Slut.

Any chance you can make it down next Saturday for the meet-n-greet/cruise in WA? It sounds like you might have a shot at the distance trophy. You could hook up with the Chilliwack-Abbotsford gang for part of the way. I'm not sure, but I think there might be someone in Kamloops coming too. As for the Fraser Canyon, I actually hit my top speed there. I won't say what it was, but lets say I know that the third digit space on the speedo can display a number "2"..

Was it a standard WRX or was it a WRX-STi? I used to have an STi (2004 model) and I can tell you it might be as fast as my Camaro SS but I know for sure the suspension was way way way stiffer. Very little body roll except when cornering very hard at high speed. But you felt every little pebble or bump in the road right up through your spine. That's part of why I finally got rid of that car.
