Is that where you want to be when Jesus comes back?

I read about that in Beer Today magazine. They were gowing to use Camaros , but they figured they would need 12 to do the same work as 8 hellcats. Which would mean pulling the wagon without cases of bud and making the dog stay in the truck.

Where's the 10-$20s? I accept VISA-MC-Amex, if you're short of funds.

Terms? I say more will run faster than 11.20 vs. The ZL1 running faster than Chevy's ZL1 11.9X unicorn claims... And if you're serious I have no issue with sending you a certified check but let's post it up here for all to see....

$100 to "prove' you're full of ca-ca? You've done that on your own. My claim is NHRA DID NOT TOUCH THE CAR, and you claim they DID.

Post THAT up SRT-man. Being the gentleman you are.

BTW, what track and what day-time? The DA would be interesting to know.

I gave you the name of the track go back and read the post. This is really getting to you. This is all stuff you can google. If you want me to do it for you then you have to pay. You get one freebee here it is. http://www.drivesrt.com/news/2014/07...econd-car.html Your beloved ZL-1 ran a 12.3 which is slower than my 2012 challenger SRT-8 with the 392. Read and weep. http://blog.caranddriver.com/0-to-13...-14-mile-time/

it simply means the time was apparently run on an NHRA-certified track. ONLY! Which means the clocks were exactly 1320' apart. That's ALL it means. It is NOT a statement of what the vehicle did/did not contain. It is NOT a statement of the car being "stock". It is NOT a statement that it ONLY had 707 hp (maybe the belt was disconnected and it was making 800+, as accurately reported).
Actually, the certification requires the car to have all modifications from stock listed. There were two certifications - one without modification and one with a single modification: 305 drag radials (Nitto 555?).

He's a slow-motion trainwreck. It's starting to get really entertaining to see how far he's willing to dig himself in.

Well here is one under 11.7

BandimereCor - 11.52s @ 124.73mph = (11.52/124.73)/1.46*60 = 3.796s (0-60mph) (Bandimere DA corrected time)

Some people react that way. I think it's good for everyone though - competition breeds better product...the Camaro is a gorgeous car. I might prefer the Challenger's looks, but Camaro fans should benefit from the Hellcat's existence in time.

I bought the challenger because the ZL-1 is not as fast as it should be with the claimed 580 HP. They the ZL-1 runs from 12.0 to 12.3 at the track where the Hell Cat was certified. that being Pacific raceways in kent wa. I run 12.1 to 12.3 at that track. The ZL-1s that come out do not want to run me in my 392. I cut a good light and they get nervous and always screw up what should be a win for them. So they just avoid me as much as possible. I don't think I am better than them I am maybe a better driver. The 392 challenger SRT-8 is a fast car off the show room floor. The Hell cat is a faster car off the show room floor.

If you take the fast list on this very site for stock ZL1s and average them the car runs around a 12.3. My argument for the non believers of the 11.2 was that several folks have run 11. 4s so far which granted isn't many, but so far we are still a second slower than the hellcat. Math tells me that that isn't going to be made up with more challenger runs. If anything it will be worse for us. If we take what we know, 11.2, 11.4, 11.4 and 11.7. That's a 11.4 average. Face it boys, we loose on the drag strip. And remember, the charger is even faster. Facts are facts and I know you guys arguing the most know it too or you wouldn't have resorted to playground bickering and nonsense posts. In their defense, Hellcat 1 you haven't been nearly as respect as you claim to be and you are playing in their world.
