The only way that Cadillac is going to over-take the Germans and re-gain the former glory is by continuing to offer fantastic performance and quality like the newest gen Cadillacs are doing, and keep it up, until maybe....one day....people begin to see them differently and better.

I also believe a good strategy (if possible) is to always be a step under the competitor cost while offering the same or more for the price. Right now, the mindset is still "why buy a GM American made product when I can get this such and such for the same money"

Even a top GM exec said it would take years and years to get where they want to be....they know it will be a long haul.

Cadillac could be absolutely murdering the Germans right now if corporate GM and their beancounters weren't hassling them about spending an extra $2/door handle.

Speaking of Cadillac, no 2015 ELR, will return in 2016 with improvements (aka stuff from the 2nd gen Volt).
