This is a stupid question but what is the "fuse pull?" the v8 guys talk about it all the time but do us V6 owners do it also? and most of all what is the purpose and what will it effect?

For the V8's only, i believe they do it when a dealer puts 87 octane in the tank and they pull the fuse to reset the fuel map tables. There's a sticky on it in the V8 sub-forum.

On the v6 doing it is just like unplugging the battery for a little while to remove and codes.

Yeah, v8's have two fuel maps. V6 only has one. If the v8's put in lower octane gas, the car uses the lower fuel map, and they lose power, compared to the high octane fuel map.

I see. Thanks for all the help everyone.
I'm just trying to get more horses out my baby so I thought I'd ask.
I am also looking to have my intake manifold ported but it doesn't look like anyone does it anymore, Any insight?

For a ported IM try sending an email to velocityport410@gmail.com

Jay did mine last year and I think he still does them.
