No, I dont think so. We will know in a few days but I read that the 2011 Camaro V6 has got some additional horsey support! Hopefully it is something we can just pop on our rides.

Well yes, I'm not saying they built awesome cars, but they certainly met some sort of market demand... Don't forget that Chevy made 180HP Corvettes in the 80s.... I wouldn't really call that a performance car either! My compact pickup truck almost matches those #'s...

Motortrend probably sat at there Tv's the night before saying Cool we will get 65 degrees tomorrow Gret day to test the stang

compared to our 33 degree lol oh well they have the power to make up for the hard Ass tires and cold pavement.

Besides for the people who even care about the #'s as we are arguing over there Cars are not even stock anymore meaning camaros........... the question is how will stang respond to Mods ?
Most guys who look at this stuff doesnt run what it says we ran lol

The new stang will be a good car for bang out of package ( something the Stang can smile on for themself compared to past gt's )

And yall can say what you want about it eating a 03/04 Cobra i dont see that

I would love to know why people are just throwing up random magazine times. If these had any value to them, then the GT500 is only a tenth of a second slower than the SS.

We should wait until they get into the hands of good drivers, instead of quoting these magazines.

Yeah...I could NEVER buy a mustang the way they look. I don't like the roofline and especially the REAR.......

Plus the outdated rear suspension.

They're neck and neck right now... there's ~0.1 of a difference between the two. This new GT actually is getting better first drive times than the terminator, since I believe it was motortrend (or one of those mainstream mags) that got a 12.9 in the 1/4 with the 03 Cobra.

Like I said before, whether it be GM or Ford, at least one of the American companies are receiving their deserved credit. Having a mainstream mag actually saying an American car is of higher quality than something like a comparable Audi and BMW is unheard of.

The cobra trapped higher but did not hook up as well with its IRS. Both hooking equal the 03 cobra is still the faster car in my opinion.

The Cobra also had bigger tires (275s) than the GT. More or less a balanced trade-off.
