My goal is just to get Skip somewhat prepared for the academy if he gets accepted. Cause homeslice needs all the help he can get hahaha. He did great yesterday though, he can out run me anyday but I kicked his butt in the KB workout!

Well I checked their workouts and the are doing crossfit and tabatas and sprints daily, so I'm trying to kill him as much as possible at home. He only has one step left. Its nerve racking waiting to find out. I want him to have the job he wants, but then again, I don't want anything to happen to him either.

Hi everyone. Good to see people still at it. I have been working out as usuall and finally, after almost 4 weeks got to EAT semi solid food yesterday and will do so untill Thursday. Friday I'm going in for the 2nd and most likely final surgery to repar my jaw, then it will be a liquid diet again for about 2 more weeks. My lifts are as heavy and in some cases heavier than before my accident so I guess you can build/maintain muscle on a liquid diet, at least in the short term, I have been creative with home made liquid meal replacements that have worked out rather well but once I am healed the first thing I will be doing is chowing down on a big hunk of steak.

I hate burpees. I think everyone hates them. I always think of the little comics that says T-Rex hates burpees when I'm doing them and end up laughing.

And I hate running too. I've worked up to 20 minutes now straight, which is a lot for me. I'd like 45 minutes on the elliptical better.

Hope everyone is doing ok. Figured I'd post to wake everyone up. My second and last surgery is complete but back on a liquid diet untill the end of the week. I tried lifting this week but it's not worth the pain but I've managed to spend some time on the eliptical without to much distress. Should be back at it by next week.

Time to wake up this thread again.I'm disappointed to see that a few have given up on their weight loss goals, the reasons given seem to be the excuses I hear often. I guess people tend to choose the easy way. Hope everyone else is doing ok.
