Well, we got my dad moved to another assisted living facility today. The other one was not keeping his room clean, not seeing that he was showered, things kept coming up missing, they kept adding big charges for this & that.............just not feeling good any more. It went well & he seems to like it so far. I hope it turns out to be better. Here is a pic of dad in his new digs with my 2 sisters.

Looks like you got him settled in nice and comfy. We went through that with my g'ma years ago. Assisted living...one day I showed up and all they had in (my g'ma and her sister) their pantry was Cheerios, a couple cans of frank n beans and some milk in the fridge. That place was supposed to make sure they had good food stocked. Needless to say, we had to do the same thing and move them. I hope his new digs work out better!

My 13 year old stepson has a date today... It's a group thing, a bunch of kids are going to a movie. He asked for a ride to and from for him and his friend. Since it's nice out, I offered to take them in Ladybug. Gotta help him impress the girls!

That is too funny. The day my nephew came up to visit right after I got Nikita (what the girls at work named my car, I was name choice neutral) he says to me "Uncle John, I will pay you $100 to put on a tux and chauffeur me to the night club in your new car"

I have to show this to my stepson - he's not offering to pay... As a matter of fact, he's asking for cash, too!

Ladybug is a garage queen, only out on lovely days, so many people haven't seen her. My stepson was telling a buddy of his that I had a Camaro, and the kid didn't believe him - until the school bus stopped at our house while the garage door was opened.
13 year olds seem to be REALLY impressed with Camaros - still kid enough to like them for the Transformer thing, but starting to get old enough to appreciate the car itself...

Heck, who doesn't like a Camaro

I just got mine in October, then it went to the garage at the beginning of December. It won't be my daily driver as I have 45 miles each way to the office but it is definitely going to work with me a few times this summer.
