I think that's what Fen was trying to say.

Fen I know you mentioned GM was considering offering the Colorado with a manual in W/T form, but I can't remember if you said if they had confirmed it.

This article seems to say they are definitely offering it in the WT extended cab truck

It's confirmed. They added it into the press release a day or so after the reveal.

The thing they're considering is the performance off-road model.

If it does happen, I will have a hard time between buying a new Camaro or a new Colorado. I would like a truck for when I go out in the desert with my friends and a factory off road package might push me in the direction of a Colorado over the Camaro.

Performance Off road model like a Specific model not like a Z71 Packaged Colorado? I wonder what the package would entail Disconnecting sway bars, full lockers? beefy Off road tires? Of course skid plates and I hope rock sliders. But all that means to me is one damn expensive Mid Size truck. I will wait till I hear prices and Mpgs and to drive the Diesel version to make a final decision on what to buy.

If they do the off road model it should be awesome but it will be pricey. I think a V6 Z71 is enough truck for me. Depending on pricing I could still be looking at a Silverado.

I think Fen said earlier that Chevy was thinking about bringing back the ZR2 nameplate for the "performance off-road model"

I don't really know if it'll be badged ZR2, I just used that as an example of what they're thinking of doing. It would make sense though.
