This may sound weird but when I quit, I would actually pretend to smoke using a pen and slowly inhale air, hold it for a bit and then exhale as if it was the real deal. It really helped with the urges.

If only I could convince my Dad to quit. My grandfather died of lung cancer last january from smoking and my dad still won't give it up.

When I quit dipping after 22 years, altoids are what go my through the first week. I dunno if that'll work for smoking, but worth a shot, maybe

It will get easier, but the craving will always be there. I quit dipping 9 year ago and still have times when I want to get a big ole fatty between the lip and gum. You quit it before!!! Keep it up!
