Well the Texans rolled over the Bengals. I knew they were going to win but didn't expect a blowout. Ravens, you're next!

As for the NFC, they should be taking the trophy this year unless the Patriots make it I and Brady works more magic. I also see the 9ers taking down the Saints this weekend!

If (and I mean "BIG IF") tebow and the broncos beat the pats at home, will pats fans turn on belichick?

I mean the pats are the staple of the NFL, but "IF" they have 4 straight playoff losses and 3 one and dones at home losing to a lower seed and 3 second year QBs, then what.………

Houston having no experence in the playoffs will be showing up. If they survive the Ravens, the Patriots will exploit that inexperience in the AFC championship game. The
Ravens are the only team left IMO that can bring down the Patriots in the AFC. However, if the Patriots do make the Super Bowl I believe the Saints or Packers will beat them. If the 49er's somehow make it, their inexperience will hurt them against the Patriots.

If the Texans are talented enough to take down the Ravens I don't think inexperience will stop them from beating the Patriots. The Ravens have a running game to worry about as well as a passing game and a top defense while the Patriots are one dimensional with a mediocre defense. The Patriots would win because of bad mismatches in the secondary with their elite tight ends and slot receivers tearing up our safeties. Our only chance would be a stellar game plan by Wade and an effective pass rush. Brady just gets rid of it so damn quick and has excellent timing.

First thing's first, beat the Ravens. Go Texans!

you put way too much stock in "experience". it's all about execution and matchups. How did the inexperience of the 2001 pats work out for them? Inexperience of the bucs when they won in 2002? or the ravens inexperience in 2000? I could list a lot more SB winners that have not had a lot of playoff experience.

i'm actually not a huge fan of fisher. he didn't do anything after mcnair and george. He wouldn't have been the worst option out there, but i think miami could do better.

Huh? Houston up until this year had NO experience. The teams you mention had at least been in the playoffs at some point before their run. You can disregard it if you like. It still doesn't make it not true. You look at who wins this year, it will be a team with a vast amount of experence. This leaves the 49ers, Broncos, and Texans on the outside looking in. If one of those teams wins the Super Bowl, I'll come back to this thread and personally call myself a dumbass. lol

Eh, I see the nfl as just football. Playoffs arent some magical land where everything is different. Sure adrenaline will be higher, etc, but bottom line, they are still playing football. And I'm willing to bet 90% of the players on the teams I listed have never been to the playoffs before they won the SB. The only real advantage experience has, is handling the attention from the media/fans. Again, just my opinion.
