I understand. The things that make "Social" sites easy to use for fun are the same things that make it easy to use for BS - or WORSE. It's a dance with the devil...

Establishing an account on any of these sites has inherent risks. And just because you're a nice person, doesn't mean everyone else is, and that goes for people you know as well as people you don't.

Too bad these sites don't post great big ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK signs. Sure they have TERMS OF USE and PRIVACY POLICY Statements, but everyone blows by them - myself included, and I'm in the "biz." ( I'm aware of the risks and the pitfalls which is why I don't do FB, Twitter or anything else along those lines.)

Whatever you do on the web, do it with your eyes wide open. I hope you can resolve this crap.

Sorry for your sibling drama LBM. And yeah, we all have family drama. I have been dealing with some of that also this year in between & associated with all the true trauma. All you can do is make your own good choices. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to keep family members from making bad choices creating drama for the rest of the family. Hope you are able to prevent it making real problems for your life. Hang in there.

Thanks for remembering Chris! I'm on the uphill side of grief for now. Who knows what the holidays will bring. I have definitely learned to live in the here and now and not to leave anything on the table to regret.

This is the time of our life when this will happen. I'm thankful for what God has given me and the time I had with my late husband. His example has given me what I needed to move on.

This is my cat, Caesar:

I'm having him put to sleep tomorrow :( He's 16 years old (maybe older, we're not sure) and has such bad arthritis that he can't get in the litter box anymore, even with a ramp. He's just a very unhappy, in pain, kitty. It's the right thing to do, and I know he'll be at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for us to be together again (with my other cat, Angel, and our other Rottweiler, Emily - they both have been gone a few years now). So I'm OK with it, but it's still sad... Everyone give your pets an extra scratch behind the ears tonight for me, OK???

Here's a bit of Saturday humor -

While on a road trip, an elderly couple
stopped at a roadside restaurant for lunch.
After finishing their meal, they left the
restaurant, and resumed their trip.


When leaving, the elderly woman unknowingly
left her glasses on the table, and she didn't
miss them until they had been driving for
about forty minutes.


By then, to add to the aggravation, they
had to travel quite a distance before
they could find a place to turn
around in order to return to the restaurant
to retrieve her glasses.

All the way back, the elderly husband
became the classic grouchy old man.
He fussed and complained, and
scolded his wife relentlessly during the
entire return drive. The more he
chided her, the more agitated he became. He
just wouldn't let up for a single minute.

To her relief, they finally arrived at the restaurant.
As the woman got out of the
car, and hurried inside to retrieve
her glasses, the old
geezer yelled to her,

While you're in there, you might as well
get my hat and the credit card.
