I'm still skeptical of this recent rumor.
You are correct. I didn't see the changes specific to the hellcat. Be very interesting to see what pans out.

My guess is these bolt-on cars most likely have about 540-570 rwhp? Would it be safe to assume the Hellcat will have similar hp stock? It will also have quicker shifting automatic with improved gearing? Yet it's impossible to run these times simply because the car may be 150-200lbs heavier? Again I am assuming the Hellcat tested with DRs.
The cars that are running high 10's on that list are putting 600-650hp to the ground and weigh 200lbs less. Let's say the pixie dust in the 8-speed yields an extra 2-tenths over the 8L90 in the V. That is offset by the extra 200lbs. I think the Hellcat is going to have to put 600+ to the ground and be on drag radials to cut a high 10. No way to know until we start seeing reviews.

What's a matter Stew, still butt-hurt over the SS reviews that proved you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about?? Funny how you tucked tail and hid rather than man up to the misinformation you spewed week after week.

Do you even know what the initial quality study measures? It tracks the number of problems per 100 vehicles (PP100) reported within the first 90-days of vehicle ownership.

What are the most common "problems" reported?

Defects
• 1) Wind noise (the leading complaint since the first survey in 1987)
• 2) Abnormal noises under the vehicle (could be anything)
• 3) Noisy brakes (squealing and clunking)

Design Problems
• 1) Hands-free communication not recognizing customer commands
• 2) HVAC controls poorly located and difficult to use
• 3) Automatic-transmission behavior and shift quality (dual-clutch transmissions, busier shifting with downsized engines and more gears)

This study means nothing more than what consumers THINK is 'wrong' with their new cars when they bought it. Not what is ACTUALLY a PROBLEM as it pertains to reliability/durability.

What happens when you gather data from THREE YEARS of ownership?

I did hear that the Hellcat ran a 10.90 but just rumors at this point, but in the next month I would think there will be more than just rumors. The SRT8 392 will run 12.5 stock one of the better times I have seen is 12.36, that is with 470hp now the 2015 RT/SRT has 485hp will be a bit faster and the Hellcat with 600+ could be a very low 11's to high 10's car.

With Dodge already claiming the following for the 392 R/T Scat Pack "The coupe’s best-in-class power enables it to turn mid 4-second 0-60 mph times and low 12-second quarter mile times." I think you can be assured that the Hellcat will be a solid 11-second machine, possibly quicker.

If it really can run 10s bone stock and not cost more than 70gs it will have redeeemed itself in my eyes. But dude, a 4300-4400 pound car would probably need well over 700 HP to run 10s. The Shelby is lighter and at 660 HP doesnt run 10s bone stock.
