Justice... honestly? I wasn't in the courtroom, didn't hear the evidence, can't judge. My opinion? She did it, just not enough hard evidence to convict. However I do think she will meet an untimely fate. Too many haters for her to not become a giant target once she's set free.
I hope she gets her tubes tied with all the money she makes off book deals.

the problem is that the big picture is nothing more than speculation and emotional yearning to find anyone to pin the murder to. put yourself in caseys shoes. as soon as you do go to police they will start acusing you of being at fault. maybe that is why she chose to not say anything and deal with it the way she did. this is more common than you think. how many stories have you heard of where someone puts granny in a freezer and keeps collecting the checks from her retirement. once they get caught doing this they wont go to jail for murder but for fraud by cashing the checks. last time i checked it isnt unlawful to not report a death.

I am a little warped I will admit.....
I was thinking of letting casey stay at the house till she gets her feet on the ground but I don't think the wife will agree to it.

Apples and Oranges ... You are so far out in left field it ain't funny. People only don't report the death if they have something to HIDE. And yes with most of the evidence destroyed by mother nature, there is nothing left but speculation and common sense ... Also it is unlawful to not report your kid missing and not know where they are for 31 days. It's called Child Neglect but the Stated didn't push for that charge, that's where they dropped the ball.

They didn't drop the ball. They're great proscutors. Killing your kid, wrapping her in a blanket, duct taping her mouth and hiding her in the swamp isn't what i call "child neglect"
