As much as I hate to say it I love the bruins but I think there done they'll win Monday I think but not Wednesday unless they can play with the same physicality as they did in 3-4 but well see there real chance to win it would have been stealing game five and win the cup in Boston

Bruins 3-0, 11:00 minutes left in the first period, and now it is 4-0 as I am typing this, looks like an azz kicking tonight.

That just means the Canucks will win their first Stanley Cup at home...

All I can say is Luongo shot his mouth off about someone who has outplayed him in every game and then again failed to deliver. Vancouver might very well win it, the Bruins haven't been able to beat them in Vancouver yet, they were tightly contested games. Not the blowout laughers that Luongo has delivered in Boston. If Vancouver wins it will not be because of inspiring play from Luongo..LOL.. He's a goalie not playing well and all he has to do is shut his mouth.... but he just couldn't do it .. what ever.. he looks like a total fool to the hockey world right now.
It should be a good game 7 ........ good luck to both teams.....

In all this talk of the nucks being a joke, I can't believe no one has touched on the fact the fact that in games 1 through 4 the reffing was so one sided to boston it was a joke!
I have never seen a team be favoured in a stanley cup final that much, in a long long long time. If the nucks seem like their playing a little dirty it's because you get what you deserve, thomas slamming sedin, lucic with the sucker punch, all the little school yard B.S. the hortan hit was clean, he was looking at his pass when he should have been playing hockey, rome did what any physical player would do.

sure the nucks cant play in boston, but it looks like boston can't win in van, so it will be a great game 7, and hopefully the nucks bring it home.

I highly disagree with some of your points.

1) If you have played the game before, you know if you enter the goalies crease you are fair game. It's been like that forever. If you want to step into the goalies crease you can expect an unfavorable outcome. Been playing for almost 20 years now and I've been drilled in the crease by goalies. Never seen it called once, don't see why that will change now.

2) The hit on Horton was not clean. The puck was long gone before Rome moved in, he had more than enough time to pull up. His fault for taking a run at a player in a vulnerable position way after the puck was gone.

Didn't see the Lucic play, so I can't comment.

Vancouver's management constantly complaining and faulting other people for losses, complaining to the league, disgraceful on ice tactics in a few games.... Really not a classy way to do things. Bruins management has handled things much more appropriately.

In the words of John Tortorella, the best thing Vancouver can do is....."Shut your yaps"

Your an idiot and have no clue about hockey apparently is all I will say and drop from this thread as it's not worth arguing with a homer. The hit on Horton was as dirty as it gets and guess what smart guy ... everyone around the league agreed. and Rome was suspended for the series for it... case closed. He left his feet and went head hunting on guy without the puck... You don't have a clue apparently... their called rules and every sport has them... You should try reading them if you want to comment about the game.
( guess what ... The NHL expanded the rule due to the Rome hit as well) but you think it was legal..hahahahahaha shows how much you actually know about the sport. Yes I am passionate about it, I've played 25 years and counting

The nucks as you want to call them are the Miami Heat of the NHL.. no one wants to see then win and why ? Because of the diving and dirty play.. The finger biting and mockery of it.... You seem to forget that games one and two in Vancouver set the tone for the series to be dirty. If Vancouver hadn't played that way they very well may have won it in 5 games but they woke up the beast. IF the Sedin sisters had any testosterone in them instead of estrogen it wouldn't even be a series. But when you dress girls against men thats what you get. Marchand is a rookie and totally made a mockery of Sedin as a hockey player and man. Game was over at that point, he let himself get slapped around like true wimp that he is. It thought that was some of the funniest stuff I've seen in the series.

I agree if your in the goalies crease your fair game, but when you reach up for a puck clearly outside the crease, and the tender comes out and crushes you and then skates back in, is it not penalty if you ask me?

and on the hortan hit, your right it was late and should be called, yes he did leave the ice and was head hunting, but at the same time you can't tell me that if rome didnt take that hit he would have gotten one just as bad right back in the spot hortan was in, rome is just a big ol canadian boy who isn't a pu**y, and he let the passion get the better of him and put some lolygagger in the sick house for a while.

either way you slice it, both teams have done some stupid things. and some good things. sure the finger thing was a joke, and should never have happened. but it would have been just as easy for boston not to make a joke of it EVERY chance they got. if you poke the dog evetually your going to get bit.

As dirty as it gets? Thats not even close to as dirty as it gets. How about the Zedeno Chara hit on max pacioretty? The puck wasnt even near the play and it possibly ended max's carrer as a hockey player. Chara also recieved a 5 minute interfence penalty and game misconduct yet a 0 game suspension. How about Steve Dowine's 20 games suspenison hit or Jesse Boulerice hit for a small 25 game suspension. I do not agree with Rome's hit at all but is not even close to as dirty as it gets, hence the 4 game suspension.

The nucks may be the most hated team in the NHL but so are most teams that win a lot of games. You cant just talk about canucks dirty play. Are you watching the games? Chara and Marchand are hacking and cross checking every player after every whistle. How bout Bostons class act of fingering the crowd after scoring a goal or spraying an opposing fan with a water bottle while leaving the game. Oh and didnt the Bruins make a mockery of the finger bitting twice in one game? After their coach called the Canucks classless for doing the same thing?

No offense, but you are both Vancouver fans so it's hard to be objective. No mention of Edler on Peverly either, dangerous play.

We may be vancouver fans, but it goes both ways for boston fans.

Everyone sees what they want to see.

I am a huge Vancouver fan so I see where your coming from. But like I said I do NOT agree with Rome's hit, it was late. To say it was as dirty as it gets is just plain stupid. Chara's hit was worse because Max was not even near the puck and hadnt just played the puck like Horton. I am upset with the amount of diving but it is both ways... Everyone can hate Vancouver for building a good solid hockey club. They did not win the Presidents trophy for being a cheap and dirty team. They were 13th in penalty minutes per game this year.

For the record I am not a Bruin's fan. Rangers all the way here.

I thought Chara's hit on Max made me sick, it was dirty and disrespectful. Had the league had someone else in charge of discipline I think the outcome would have been different.

Honestly this is the ugliest series I've seen in a long time. Not just with all the dirty/cheap play, but the hockey is ugly too. LOTS of Mistakes, Lots of Dump and Chase, Not many well setup plays, I expected Vancouver to mop the floor with Boston but this is not the same Vancouver team I watched in the regular season. The team is shaky and starts with the Goalkeeper. If I'm Alain Vigneault i'm sitting Luongo, gutsy and dangerous move.. yes. But this is one of those situations where I think a Mike Keenan strategy works. Lu just does not look like a confident goalie right now.
