It's the same bullpup configuration, but the Steyr AUG's built by Austria while the TAR-21's built by Israel. TAR-21 is a much more modern rifle as well.

It always amazes me when a video game takes a step backwards from the competition. All they had to do was take a look at Halo or Ghost Recon to figure out the true and tested way to do split screen multiplayer online!

And from my Googling earlier it sounds as if PS3 was coded to do multi PSN IDs but, was later removed. What's up with that?

Even using a seperate GamerTag for your guest causes problems. Issue noticed:

Custom weapon layout names were the same and eventually were renamed by system to Custom1, Custom2..
About every 5 games our controller layout setup would change, this was due to the fact the my brother-in-law shoots like he is flying a plane.
(Not proven) It appeared we had slightly more lag time that the other players. Killcam would show us something total different from what we saw originally.

I'm still having fun playing. Level 39 currently, so as you can see I'm no die-hard gamer. I think I only played for 20 minutes last night. I was a little tired and my reaction time was way off. At that point there was no need sticking around to get slaughtered!

I love the campaign. It's the multiplayer that I cannot stand. I shot a guy 5 times with an M16, he ran through my bullets and knifed me. I hate having to unlock shit, then turn around and buy it.For some reason the lag is unbearable in this game. I play MW2 just fine, but in this game I'll tomahawk somebody, and they will die five feet later. It's ridiculous. Last but not least, tonight I had to wait ten minutes just to find a match...Luckily, I was eating dinner at the time, but I was ready to burn this disk. Going to try to improve my connection, and I hope it gets better.

Definitely server issues with BO. Seems like almost every match has connection issues, or something. Since I'm not the only one to complain, and it doesn't seem to happen to mini me on xbox, I'm sure it has to do with the servers PS3 uses. We don't have any connection issues with other games on the PS3 either.

Other then that, the lag is killer, like CC said above. You show hits and they still knife you. I love the combat trainer though, when there is just too much bs online, I can set that up and have fun.

I can understand you guys on the server lag issues....but if every one remembers each cod that has come out the first 2 months were horrendous with lag, glitches and random bullshit....i almost smashed my mw2 disk into thousands of pieces when that first came out but after a bit they fixed the problems

Well this is my second cod game ever. I got MW2 a goo while after it came out, so maybe after a bit some things will start to get better.
