Oil change for the SUV (long overdue

), Lunch with my best friend, maybe clean the garage and take a trip to the dump (since my hubby has been ignoring my prodding, I'll do it myself), and if I have enough energy tonight, Oktoberfest at the local fairgrounds. Not sure if I feel like standing in a big room with way too many drunk people, tho...

So much rain lately, Ladybug's staying home safe and sound.

Today, I'm programming the Halloween lights interface. Watching college football. (My team got their heehaw kicked last week. They're looking for revenge.) And doing Federal Income Tax class homework. If the rain will break for a second or two I'll climb up on the roof to make the last few connections to the Halloween lights.

I see patches of blue sky right now, so I could have sent it your way.... didn't do it intentionally tho.... Post pics of your Halloween lights when they're done! We don't bother decorating anymore, and only buy one small bag of candy. Only kids that come by are the 2 neighbor kids, but we watch truck and van loads of kids drive by to the big neighborhood a couple of blocks down. You'd think they would stop on the way - we're on the corner.... Maybe the 4 foot tall bear next to my door, holding a sign that says "Go away" is the problem???

EDIT: I went outside to take a pic to show you the bear, and someone had turned the sign around to the "Welcome" side. I know who it was because they left one of their little fliers tucked in the bear's paw. It was one of those door-to-door missionaries (won't say which religion, don't want to offend). Why would they change my sign? Do they think that will make me want to convert??? OK end of rant. Pic to follow....
