okay i'll tell you guys a funny story. my friend has a 6 year old. she plays games on his IPAD. so last week she got mad at the game and BIT the IPAD and cracked it!
so then he tries to decide whether to punish her. I said if she was mine she'd get a whoopin'.
So then i talked to him wednesday,. "did you punish her?" "yeah, she can't use the IPAD."

The University of Texas at Austin issued a campus-wide evacuation order this morning in response to a "threat."

The University of Texas at Austin has issued a campus-wide evacuation due to “threats on campus.”

An emergency notice on front page of the school’s website issued this ominous notice posted around 10 a.m. Texas time Friday:

“Evacuation due to threats on campus. Immediately evacuate ALL buildings and get as far away as possible. More information to come.”

Local media said the school had received a phoned-in threat from a man claiming to be part of Al Qaeda who had placed bombs all over campus.

The man spoke “with a Middle Eastern accent ... he said he was with Al Qaeda and these bombs would go off in 90 minutes,” the Austin American-Statesman reported.

UT Austin is a sprawling campus home to about 50,000 students.

beside's , he's in mississippi, i thought they were more lenient about that in the South

I was raised on whoppings and such. My parents told people and we never had an issue with it.

Got a problem with the South? My parents weren't lenient, but a lot are in the South. I believe in a good butt whopping to discipline a kid.
