Welcome Stlrammer, we call ourselves Ol' Farts so the mods leave us alone... after all, how much trouble can a bunch of Ol' Farts make?

Seriously. Just maintain the facade like the rest of us.

Welcome, some of us are now calling ourselves dudes and dudettes

No midlife crisis for most of us..........we've always been crazy about fast cars..........we do have our fun in here occasionally

Yeah, not fond of the "old fart" label, but no spring chick here. Welcome to our little corner of the forum to a fellow member of the 2 Camaro family sub group. We need a 2 Camaro family club! Hummmmmmmmm That is an idea right there.

OMG I posted a reply on a thread about the 2012 Owner's Manual and everyone has gone bonkers. Unbelievable. My whole point was that I like the leatherette binder that came with my 1993 Z28. Not impressed with the plastic bag for the 2012. I took pics last night and posted them on that thread. I also complained about the small teeny tiny visor doing absolutely nothing for blocking out the morning sun on the driver's side. Then there came posts about did you buy the Camaro for the visors and manual? uhhhhh, no. I got the Camaro because I LOVE the Car. It is my 3rd Camaro and I am still madly in love with the look and performance of the car. I have recycled my cover and it is now covering my 2012 manual. Do you think this could all be because I'm considered "an old fart?" LOL

Good Morning All. Congrats on your new car TPMiami! If a reasonable expectation makes you an Ol' Fart, then so be it! Welcome to the Ol' Farts thread.

You might just be an old fart.... To expect quality in ALL aspects, including the manual cover is a "good ol' days" thing... But it's OK! Being an old fart isn't so bad... Great idea to recycle your old cover, BTW!
Regarding visors: there is a post from FBodfather regarding the small visors being a safety issue somewhere in the forums. I was talking to him at a show in July, and a few of us were discussing what some see as "flaws", and he explained reasoning behind many of them, including the visor. Apparently, larger (pre-made, used in other Chevy models) visors were giving the crash test dummies frontal lobotomies, so the smaller visors had to be specially designed for the Camaro - they were actually MORE expensive, and were not a cost cutting measure, as some have proposed. I make sure I always have my sunglasses...
Welcome to our little corner of the forum - you can be sure you will be supported in here, and we don't go bonkers over little stuff. I for one, don't have the energy to go bonkers anymore!

I know I'm supposed to be happy about hump day, but I woke up thinking "It's ONLY Wednesday???" It feels like it should be at least Thursday....

Did you say Thursday???? Oh shoot, it's only hump day? LOL
Thanks for the support. Yea, I don't go bonkers any more either. While everyone was stressing and complaining waiting for their cars, I just waited and got it eventually! It's ok, in time they too shall learn not to stress. I didn't even stress over the manual cover -- I just recycled!
