There is no way his head is 100% healed. If he takes a hard hit where his grey matter gets shaken up again, it won't be pretty. We had a LB go down the same day as Tebow with a concussion where he was knocked out cold as well. He won't be back at practice til at least next week. I know not every case is the same but I really hope they're not rushing Tim back on the field before his brain is ready. Although concussions are somewhat routine in football, they are no joke. I just don't see why Tim should be allowed to play in this game. I hope the doctors are the ones making this call, not Urban and Tim.

Let me rephrase. He isn't going to be any less tough once he's healed.

If he heals... that was a nasty shot. There are alot of athletes who have had to quit sports all together becaues of post concussion syndrome. Some after multiple concussions and others after one... its nothing to mess around with.

I'd be shocked to see him in this game, and I'd be just as shocked to NOT see him in the next game.

Being knocked out cold with brain damage, possibly permanent, is something that would make most people more timid. I don't think he's taken a hit anywhere close to this hard before. Many a player has been mentally changed by this sort of dramatic experience. Now I don't think this will happen to him but you certainly can't rule it out.

Obviously you can't rule it out but I'd be shocked. Mostly because it wasn't the hit, it was the knee...

I'm not sure it matters. The kind of hits he's delivered/taken head on can easily cause this sort of injury as well. It wouldn't be out of the question for him to subconciously try and prevent it. Yea, not completely rational but stuff like this can get into your head at a subconsious level and can be next to impossible to get out.

Again, I'm by no means saying this WILL happen to him, just that there is a chance and wouldn't be unheard of.

I understand, that being said I don't think that Tebow would be chomping at the bit like he is if he was just going to shy away from contact
