![]() Nope, nobody creepy crazy today, just the normal crazies.... Wait, I take that back.... There's this one patient, he's fairly young (mid 20's?), handsome, well spoken, charming..... and a child molester. Just got out of prison for child rape. He doesn't scare me, but I just can't reconcile the "nice young man" with his actions.... But while I was away on Monday, a floating pharmacist covered for me, and the extra technician help that had been scheduled didn't show up, and Miss "Not negative anymore, now I'm a superstar" had car trouble and couldn't get to work.... Needless to say, we did a LOT of catching up today! Gotta love it when Monday falls on a Wednesday.... It's still soooooooo much better than a couple of weeks ago! And Friday is approaching rapidly

Just a point of interest.... day before yesterday I was asked to repair a scanner on campus. As the IT guy was showing me where this machine was located we crossed paths with a grey haired lady who stopped to say hi. The IT guy introduced her as someone who also had a gen 5 Camaro. I asked her if she had a V6 or a V8. She said she had the BIGGER V8. The 9.6 liter! I said, no, it's a 6.2 liter. She said no, her paperwork from Chevy says it's a 9.6 liter! ![]() I didn't invite her to join Camaro5.

I would LOVE to go to C5FestIII, but it's right before my stepson's b-day, and driving 2,224 miles each way would take up a big chunk of time, and I doubt he wants a road trip for his b-day.... It's not 100% ruled out yet, but not looking promising.
I think an old fart get together should be more central.... Kansas City? BBQ anyone???

I like the idea of a get-together at the fest. How about we call it the "Vintage C5ers gatering". It is my Friday again. So here is my Friday pic. I posted this one elsewhere but here it is for this thread. In celebration of a new phase in my weight loss - skinny jeans!

Einstein wrong?
GENEVA (AP) — Scientists at the world's largest physics lab say they have clocked subatomic particles traveling faster than light, a feat that — if true — would break a fundamental pillar of science. The readings have so astounded researchers that they are asking others to independently verify the measurements before claiming an actual discovery. "This would be such a sensational discovery if it were true that one has to treat it extremely carefully," said John Ellis, a theoretical physicist at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, or CERN, who was not involved in the experiment. Nothing is supposed to move faster than light, at least according to Albert Einstein's special theory of relativity: The famous E (equals) mc2 equation. That stands for energy equals mass times the speed of light squared. But neutrinos — one of the strangest well-known particles in physics — have now been observed smashing past this cosmic speed barrier of 186,282 miles per second (299,792 kilometers). CERN says a neutrino beam fired from a particle accelerator near Geneva to a lab 454 miles (730 kilometers) away in Italy traveled 60 nanoseconds faster than the speed of light. Scientists calculated the margin of error at just 10 nanoseconds, making the difference statistically significant. But given the enormity of the find, they still spent months checking and rechecking their results to make sure there was no flaws in the experiment. The CERN researchers are now looking to the United States and Japan to confirm the results. A similar neutrino experiment at Fermilab near Chicago would be capable of running the tests, said Stavros Katsanevas, the deputy director of France's National Institute for Nuclear and Particle Physics Research. Katsanevas, who participated in the CERN experiment, said help could also come from the T2K experiment in Japan, though that is currently on hold after the country's devastating earthquake and tsunami in March. Scientists agree if the results are confirmed, that it would force a fundamental rethink of the laws of nature, starting with the special theory of relativity proposed by Einstein in 1905. Special relativity, which helps explain everything from black holes to the Big Bang theory about the origins of the universe, underlies "pretty much everything in modern physics," Ellis said. "It has worked perfectly up until now." He cautioned that the neutrino researchers would also have to explain why similar results weren't detected before, such as when an exploding star — or supernova — was observed in 1987. Copyright 2011 The Associated Press Funny reply to an article I was reading JohnQ.Public 96p · 3 hours ago I've known for years that E=MC2 was wrong because when you factor in the wife, money particles can actually travel faster than light! The formula is actually: E=MC2*Years married Unless you're divorced, then it's: E=MC2^Years married |

We have Kansas City as a suggestion......anybody have the energy to coordinate? Oh yeah, it's almost Friday. I have been in Pittsburgh, PA last few days. We took the incline tram up Mt Washington which overlooks the 3 rivers, the city and Heinz Stadium. One of the best meals EVER......Monterey Bay Fish Grotto........highly recommend it.......
