It seemed like Mustang promotion, almost trying to get Camaro buyers to switch over to a Mustang.

I was about to start one with the weird Mustang promo and posts wtf. I own one (and a Camaro) but I wouldn't keeep posting over and over about the comp here. If I want to talk about my c ar I go over to themustangsource, if I want to talk about my old BMW i hang at e46fanatics.com. I don't go over to e46fanatics and post how do u like my Mustang or Camaro over and over. (end rant)

Fair enough.

But if all it takes is some information on the ''competition'' to make you want to switch, my guess is your on the wrong side anyways.

Choices made with that much money should be informed ones... no matter who you end up going with

I can afford any car, even a ZR1, I can buy a Mustang tomorrow, but at the end of the day, all I'll have is a Mustang. I'll wait for my Camaro. I do enjoy you guys talking about the Mustang, God, I know people who brag about their VW, my neighbor thinks his Prius is the greatest thing sinse peanutbutter but I don't want one. The more I hear others brag up their cars, the easier it is to wait for my Camaro. I'll let the Mustang, Challanger etc sites alone. If they want to brag up theirs on a Camaro site, more power to them. Guess their sites don't listen to them anymore.

2010 Mustang GT

Hey all. I am giving up (past tense really) on the Camaro. I can get a Mustang GT Premium for only $28k. It's in my budget. The SS2 is not. :(

Will the Mustang GT (automatic) have a limited slip differential? Ford.com doesnt say, and I can't find it with google

Thanks!

Yes it will have limited slip diff. Wife has a 2010 GT Premium and she loves it. Great car.

BTW - 1SS Camaro is just a hair more than the Mustang but fewer features than the Premium package. Point being is affordability would be similar.

Whats the rush?

You could get them DIRT cheap after the 5.0L comes out... I'd wait for that if I was buying a 2010 GT..........

Of course if you were willing to wait, you could pick up a lightly used Camaro for less than 30k

No it isn't. I would recommend cheking the base price for a 1SS. ~$30K.

What attracted you to the Camaro in the first place?

Well if it's not in your budget I commend you for not overextending yourself like so many do these days.
To answer your question, yes.

As long as you didn't feel very strongly about the camaro this is a good move on your part, but if you think you might regret it it might be worth saving up the difference.
Just something to think about, good luck!
