The bright side of all this.... She has only worked for the company just over 2 months, so they could have easily just let her go when she said she needs 4 to 6 weeks off minimum, but they didn't. And, she just became eligible for insurance, but hadn't filled out the forms yet - our HR gal expedited everything, and my tech had her insurance card the day before surgery. That helps a lot, considering her hubby's insurance has a 20% copay, and he just got laid off....
Even though it's been a rough couple of weeks, I do REALLY like the company I work for... Things started to look up today

Good Morning from Anchorage Supposed to be raining and raining. The sun is shining 55degrees Coffee in hand and about time to head out for some fun. Home tomm and pick up the Car Sat morning.

Axel is getting his stitches out tonight, and I'll be finding out the pathology results for the tumor. He's been running around like a puppy lately, so I'm betting that he's gonna be just fine.
