She (Cat) and I are (according to her) best friends and she tells everyone that when she introduces me. When I hangout with her and a girl friend of hers (Amber), the girl friend always says what would Cat do without me as her friend. She and I are pretty close and I've never been this close to a female before. The other day she said this: "No, it's not. I pretty much love you and no one likes to hear ugly things from those they love." (Context: we were talking about something and I thought she was daring me to try to see if I could offend her. And she responded with that.) We are opposites and similar on different things. I don't consider her a best friend yet because we didn't start getting close until after he broke up her with her last bf (over the summer). She had text me right away telling me too which was weird because before that we only talked a little here and there.

Ehh. Sounds like she meant it more in a friend way. But I could be wrong.

She was careful to say "pretty much" which means either she wants to make sure it stays friends... or she's too chicken to say she has other feelings. I'm betting on A, but B is possible
