Helmets do have a shelf-life, the plastics and the foams generally get more brittle over time so they need to be replaced periodically. I don't think its every year though. Probably at least 5 and maybe over 10.

Oh yeah mine for sure, I AM getting a C6/SS 5th gen out of college, even if it means being able to only afford that. I can live in it, no problem
