Great to have the updates from you Scott. She may not be able to have her own children but let her know that she can be one hell of an Aunt to her brother/sister's kids.

I've had cancer 3 times...no radiation and chemo because of early detection all 3 times, thank goodness, but watched my mother go through cancer and every possible treatment for 12 yrs...that's why I can say that it affects the whole family, because the ones that don't have it worry about the person that does and they just feel so helpless...

But honestly who needs kids? She doesn't need to worry about them for a long time and by then it will more than likely possible that scientists/doctors will develop a way to take out the dna of the original egg donor and replace it with hers. So she will still be able to be a mom.

Or, if she won't want to put up with that then she'll be able to adopt

My doctors told me this from the very beginning before I even started the treatments.

I have been following your story since I joined the forum. I never commented because I wasnt sure what to say. I could say now that you and your family are very strong. You have been through more than most all while keeping a sence of humor. I can only hope that the worst is behind for you and your family! Keep us posted.
